Drink: Oatmilk Iced Latte

Price: $5

Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Flavor: 5/10

Comments: It was unfortunate that by the time they brought the coffee, most of the ice had melted, resulting in a watery taste. This also meant that the coffee itself wasn’t cold enough. Nonetheless, I could still taste some good espresso, and it wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated. I did finish the drink.

Avo Toast: Matcha Latte
(with honey)

Price: $5.5

Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Flavor: 10/10

Comments: Mmm, I am not a matcha person, but I must say this was delicious. I do not have that many references since I do not usually order it, but from the few times I have had it, this is by far the best one. I am not sure if it was the honey, but for the first time ever, it did not taste like grass. The drink was served all the way to the rim, but it was enjoyed before the picture was taken. 🙂 I would love to come back just for this order.

Avo Toast: Moroccan Spice
(avocado, chick peas, harissa, mint, and fried quinoa).

Price: $16

Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Flavor: 6/10

Comments: The mint was a nice surprise in flavor, although at first I thought I was tasting cilantro. The bread itself was on the tougher side, and I wished it had been toastier. The chickpeas were also somewhat hard, as if they needed to be cooked a bit longer to soften enough. Overall, I enjoyed the combination of flavors, and the experience was mostly affected by the texture.

Avo Toast: Brekkie Sanga
(Avocado, egg, bacon, tomato jam & herb mayo. Served on sourdough bread and a side of hash brown).

Price: $16

Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Flavor: 8.5/10

Comments: I loved the combination of flavors: the sweetness of the light tomato sauce, the hint of saltiness from the crispy bacon, the melty cheese, the fresh avocado, and, of course, the delicious eggs. The only downside was that the bread was oilier than I would have preferred, and the edges had a tough texture. The hash brown was also perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flaky salt on top was an added bonus.

The Experience

We arrived around noon, and the inside was already full, so we decided to sit outside. The servers greeted us right away, and our orders came out quickly and all at once. At first glance, all of the food looked delicious, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. We had been chatting outside for a while and had already finished our meal when our server kindly offered to move us inside since tables had opened up and it was getting hot outside. I also found the prices to be very reasonable, especially considering they already included an automatic 18% gratuity. Overall, I had a great experience and would love to come back.
