Comments: All the points they earned by trying to serve it warm (it was closer to room temperature, really) were immediately lost by not adding the one pump of brown sugar syrup I requested. I am genuinely mad about this coffee because why do you have to add so much syrup to a tall? My order explicitly asks for just one pump, but this is sooooo overwhelmingly sweet. They completely ruined the coffee. I usually get two pumps, and I love it. This time I ordered just one because I added the cold foam. Somehow, this ended up being the sweetest coffee, and I have had the cold foam before, so that’s definitely not the issue. I wish I had the courage to ask them to remake it, but my shy genes won’t allow it. A 5/10 is generous. Please, if you see me coming, do NOT oversugar my coffee.
The Experience
Aaaaah, when one of the OGs gets it wrong, it’s especially frustrating. I had already crowned this Starbucks my favorite one in the area, so it’s really disappointing when they don’t meet my expectations. Even worse, they did it by oversugaring my coffee. Get the milk wrong, get the coffee type wrong, serve it boiling hot, but do NOT mess with the sugar. AAAh, I guess I’ll stop my rant now and just come to terms with it. I walked in today and was greeted very warmly. I ordered through the app because I love the flexibility of browsing, and my custom order was already saved. My drink was ready promptly. Overall, I really like this location. It’s spacious, has plenty of outlets, and the lighting is great. Being back here feels like home.
