Comments: The first bite was delicious; however, as I continued eating, the bowl became too spicy for me, and I was unable to finish it. The potatoes had the perfect consistency, though I wish the heat had been toned down slightly. The tabbouleh was very good, but the portion felt a bit large on its own. I wondered whether they added extra because I selected two sides instead of the allotted three for this menu item. The chicken itself was okay, though it was slightly dry and mildly underseasoned. That said, its more subtle flavor complemented the stronger flavors throughout the rest of the dish. Although I enjoyed parts of the meal, I am not sure I would order it again. Still, it would be a great choice for someone who enjoys some spice in their food.
This was my second time ordering from this restaurant, and I have to say that my first experience was more of a winner. I dined in during my previous visit and remember enjoying the food a little more. They also offered a student discount, which was a nice bonus. This time, I placed a scheduled pickup order through the restaurant’s official website. The ordering process was smooth, the food was ready on time, and everything was still warm. One thing I noticed was that “tabbouleh,” one of their traditional menu items, was misspelled on the website. I only caught the error because I searched for more information about the dish. It is a minor detail, but it may suggest a lack of care in how the menu is presented online. Although this experience fell slightly below my expectations, I would still gladly return and try more items from their menu.
