Comments: Mmm… not sure if it was my fault for not ordering rice, but these tacos completely fell apart. I thought the beans would be the thicker, creamier Mexican-style ones, but I guess not. Instead, they soaked through the hard shell tortillas, causing them to break apart at the bottom and along the sides. The flavor itself was alright, nothing crazy. I ended up eating everything with the tortilla chips and chipotle ranch instead. The poblano crema was also okay with a mild spice level. Overall, it was edible, but I wouldn’t order it again.
The Experience
We ordered online through their website, and the process was smooth. Once we arrived to pick up the food, we did have to wait for about 1–2 minutes. I personally didn’t like how the tacos were wrapped in aluminum foil and simply placed on top of the complimentary chips, with the sauces thrown in there as well. The packaging just felt a little careless. I also feel like Moe’s doesn’t have the freshest-tasting ingredients compared to other similar places. Overall, it’s not one of my favorite spots. I probably wouldn’t have come back if hubby hadn’t requested it today.
